Participant Agreement and Liability Waiver

Version 2026-01 · effective January 1, 2026

This Participant Agreement, Comprehensive Liability Waiver, and Code of Conduct (“Agreement”) is a legally binding contract governing participation in the automotive gathering (“Event”). By entering the Event premises, each attendee (“Participant”) knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly agrees to the terms contained herein, including an expanded liability waiver similar in scope and strictness to professional motorsport and track-day releases.

1. Purpose and scope

This Agreement establishes mandatory legal, safety, and behavioural requirements to protect Event organisers, property owners, sponsors, affiliates, staff, and participating individuals.

2. Assumption of extreme risk

Participant understands and acknowledges that automotive events involve significant and potentially catastrophic risks, including but not limited to:

Participant accepts these risks fully and without reservation, whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated.

3. Comprehensive release of liability

Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Event organisers, employees, volunteers, property owners, sponsors, security, contractors, vendors, and affiliates (“Released Parties”).

This release applies to all claims, including but not limited to: negligence (ordinary or gross); premises liability; failure to warn; dangerous conditions; third-party actions; and accidents involving vehicles, pedestrians, or equipment.

Participant expressly agrees that the Released Parties shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for personal injury, property damage, or economic loss arising from Event participation.

4. Scope of the liability shield

Participant acknowledges that this waiver is intended to be as broad, comprehensive, and enforceable as waivers used in track-day, racing, drifting, and motorsport events.

Participant agrees that they participate entirely at their own risk; that they waive the right to bring any claim, arbitration, or legal action against the Released Parties; and that they accept full responsibility for damage to their own vehicle regardless of cause.

Participant agrees that even if the Released Parties are negligent or partially responsible, they remain fully immune from claims to the maximum extent permitted by law.

5. Indemnification

Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, demands, damages, attorney fees, or causes of action arising out of (a) Participant’s conduct or negligence, (b) damage caused by Participant’s vehicle, or (c) Participant’s violation of Event rules.

6. Conduct requirements

Participants must behave in a lawful, responsible manner. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

Violations may result in immediate removal and law enforcement involvement.

7. Vehicle safety requirements

Participants represent that their vehicle is safe, legal, insured, and mechanically sound. Organisers may deny entry to unsafe vehicles at their sole discretion.

8. Media release

Participant grants organisers unrestricted rights to photos, videos, and media captured at the Event.

9. Emergency and safety compliance

Participants must follow all instructions from Event staff, volunteers, and emergency personnel.

10. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state where the Event is held. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in that state.

11. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, all remaining provisions remain in effect.

12. Acknowledgment and consent

By agreeing, Participant affirms that they (a) have read this Agreement in full, (b) understand its liability limitations, (c) knowingly waive substantial legal rights, and (d) enter into this Agreement voluntarily and without coercion.

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these terms on their behalf.
